Common questions
How do I join?
Find a club near you, attend a few meetings, meet the members, and make sure it's a good fit. If it is, you'll receive an invitation to join. Use our Find a Club tool or contact us and we'll connect you.
What does a Lions club do?
Each club sets its own programmes, supporting both international and district projects as well as creating local initiatives. Every club follows Lions' Code of Ethics and operates within the broader LCI framework.
How much time does it take?
Family and work always come first. Members are encouraged to participate in meetings and service activities, but the time commitment is flexible and suits most lifestyles.
Do members pay fees?
Members pay a small annual subscription that covers training, insurance, and organisational costs. Importantly, 100% of funds donated by the public through fundraising go directly to the intended project — not one cent is taken for operating costs.
