Lions Youth of the Year (YOTY) is a prestigious leadership programme run by Lions Clubs International across Australia. It recognises senior secondary students who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, public speaking ability and community involvement.
Participants progress through Club, Zone, Region and District levels, culminating in State and National Finals.
YOTY develops confidence, communication skills and civic awareness while showcasing the outstanding young leaders in our communities.

Hosted in the nation’s capital, the event brings together top finalists to compete in interviews and prepared and impromptu speeches.
