Vision Week — 8 to 18 October 2026
Opening eyes. Changing lives.
Vision has been at the heart of Lions service since the very beginning, and Vision Week kicks off the service calendar for the new Lions year. From 8 to 18 October 2026, clubs are encouraged to promote eye health and support sight-saving initiatives both in their own communities and beyond.
For District 201N1 clubs, this is a natural moment to promote programs such as the Lions Eye Health Program Children’s Vision Screening Program, support Recycle for Sight Australia collections, or partner with local optometrists and health services to raise community awareness about preventable vision loss. Even simple activities — a display in a local library, a social media campaign, or an information stall at a community event — can make a tangible difference when Lions clubs across the country act together.
